Personality

Dutiful: Balios will work himself to exhaustion if his rider asks him too.
Strong Leader: While he practices mindless obedience with his human, other horses are a different story. He takes on a natural leadership role. While he will listen to suggestions, but ultimately he will make the decision.
Push-button: Not only will Balios follow his human's commands to the ends of the Earth if asked to, his human hardly needs ask to begin with. He almost seems to know what they will ask before they do.
Nurturing: Though being a leader prevents him from excessively coddling others, he makes sure to show that he respects their opinions and suggestions. He tries his best to explain why he may not accept someone's suggestion so that they wont think he just dismissed it outright.

Chewing on just about anything he can get his mouth on, pleasing his rider, caring for other horses

Dislikes

Preparing before a show (he gets incredibly nervous, but settles down once he is in the ring), objects flapping in the wind
